A small town with world-class riders

Ray might be a small town on the map, but it’s a big name in high school rodeo these days.

Six teens from the town have represented the town nationwide, ranking not only amongst other American riders, but riders from around the world.

Bailey Grove, the current reigning Junior High Rodeo Queen in North Dakota, said she’s been involved for four years and has always wanted to be a queen, watching her mom work other pageants growing up.

“It’s a small town with a lot of ranchers,” said Sidney Sandstrom, who is already ranked in the top 20 in the world.
