Tioga lawman terminated for sexual misconduct allegations

The #MeToo movement hit Tioga last week, with two female co-workers alleging sexual harassment by Tioga Police Lt. Sean Duisen. His employment was immediately terminated.


Duisen’s termination letter cites “continued violations of department policy and expectation relating to sexual harassment and/or misconduct and workplace policy.”


According to City Attorney Liz Pendlay, two women submitted written complaints to the city alleging Duisen made “inappropriate sexualized comments” and other actions unbecoming and unprofessional of a law enforcement officer.
