THS junior hopes to increase FCCLA membership

Although the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) district one is the smallest in the state, its members are doing big things.

Tioga High School junior Lydia Carr was recently elected State FCCLA president.

“I always felt this little fire inside of me for leadership,” Carr says.

Carr, who was the FCCLA district one president last year, has such a passion for FCCLA because she says it is the only organization that has family as one of its main focuses.
