Hospital's new pole building will block view of church

A 90-minute discussion ensued over the construction of a maintenance shop at the last Tioga City Commission meeting. 

Permission was eventually granted, despite the absence of two commission members.

Tioga Medical Center, represented by President and CEO Randall Pederson, came before the commission in the last step of the process to construct a 104-by-50-foot pole frame building with 14-foot side walls. 

Approved by the Planning and Zoning commission, the cold storage shop would tie into the existing garage in the northwest corner of the property and only needed the commission’s approval to proceed.
