Emergency crews were called to the Tioga Post Office Wednesday last week after a car ran through the facility’s entryway on North First Street.
Police Chief Corey Murphy said the department received a call at around 1 p.m. stating a driver had driven through the side doors, damaging the windows and ramp on the side of the building.
No injuries were reported at the accident. Ambulance crews from Tioga fire arrived as a precaution, but no patients were taken to the medical center after the driver declined medical attention.
The driver of the vehicle was an 86-year-old female and has not been identified by authorities.
