Hockey may be an especially intense sport, but the barbs and mischief in Friday’s exhibition game between the Crosby girls’ 19U team and a group of area law enforcement officers were all for fun and charity.
“It was a great community event,” said Coby Hubble, the Divide County deputy who helped organize the team of officers.
The game, the idea for which began as a dare by senior 19U player Katelynn Power-Akers, had enough entertainment and laughs to prompt some pleas to hold the event annually.
