Sabrina Carter, a recent graduate of Westby High School, has signed to continue her basketball career at Williston State College.
Carter, a 5-foot-9-inch guard, averaged 14 points, seven rebounds and four assists per game for the Mon-Dak Thunder her senior year and was an all-district selection.
“Sabrina comes from a notable program that understands winning,” Williston State head coach Luanne Axelson said. “We expect her to bring that winning attitude to WSC.”
Carter is the daughter of Shelly and Byron Carter of Fortuna.
She is one of several players from the region who have signed with the Tetons this summer, including Lakin Peterson of Burke County, Taylor Nelson of Ray, Cheyenne and Kiara Packineau of Parshall and Emily Nielsen of Culbertson.
