The Divide County girls’ basketball team had the chance for its first win over an opponent with a winning record this season, but the victory slipped out of reach with MonDak outscoring DC 27-16 in the second and third quarters as the Maroons dropped a 40-33 decision to the Thunder in Ray on Saturday evening.

Girls drop Tioga tourney title to Trenton, 71-30

The Divide County girls’ basketball team lost to Trenton-Trinity Christian by a score of 71-30 on Saturday afternoon in the championship game of the Tioga tip-off tournament. Sophomore Alli McCoy had 13 points for the Maroons in the loss.
