Students find expression through high school art show

Their mediums ranged from pencil to steel, but students in Chris Aslesen’s Junior English class and Allison Muncaster’s Art club had the same basic goal: self-expression.

Works by students in both classes were displayed last week at Divide County High School, in a dual art show.

Art Club advisor Allison Muncaster said joining forces was a natural occurence.

“When it comes to the arts, I don’t want it to be competitive,” she said. “I just want to bring them up, and out, really.”
