From cookies to snow cones, a wide variety of tasty treats and trinkets were available in Crosby last week -- all benefiting the Jenkins family members who suffered multiple injuries following the vehicle crash that also took the life of 39-year-old Lorenda Jenkins on July 22.
Various fundraising efforts are underway, designed to help the family meet what will amount to staggering medical bills.
“Buy a bracelet,” Kyrian Johnson suggested.
Johnson, a rising junior at Divide County High School, is “best friends” with Malia Jenkins. She’s making braided and woven bracelets to sell.
