The screech of nails pulled from old wood can be heard 100 feet away -- as Les Hall works on the Carl Seglum 1907 claim shack at Pioneer Village.
“I’m stripping the old tar paper off,” he said.
Hall, a Divide County native now living in West Fargo, is back volunteering to help get things ready for this weekend’s Divide County Threshing Show. His project: to replace the covering on the old building.
“I did two of the sides a couple years ago,” Hall said.
