Class was in session the day before school started. The subjects: life-saving skills, CPR and how to use an automated external defibrillator.
Paramedic Amy Johnson spent part of Tuesday afternoon last week teaching 15 Divide County school employees, ranging from coaches to paraprofessionals.
“It’s a good refresher,” Tiffany Vigness said.
Vigness, a paraprofessional at Divide County Elementary School, had CPR training “years ago” when she worked as a day care provider.
