The bottom line is this: If you call for an ambulance in Divide County, one will respond.
“We’ve got people from Williston Fire, Tioga and Ray Ambulance,” Jody Gunlock said. “And a paramedic from Grand Forks.”
Gunlock, board president of the Divide County Ambulance District, said those emergency medical technicians and paramedics are providing quality services on a short-term basis while the district seeks long-term solutions to replacing the previous staff provider, Ambulance Resources.
“We’ve also picked up a number of volunteer drivers,” Gunlock said. “So we’re able to do transfers.”
