Bradley O’Brien, 50, Wildrose, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021, at Tioga Medical Center, Tioga.

Brad’s memorial service was held Monday, January 18, 2021, at Grace Lutheran Church, Wildrose. Pastor Zachary Shipman officiated.

Brad was born June 11, 1970, in Washington, Kansas, to Rosalie (Bercier) and the late Leslie O’Brien. At the age of two, the family moved from Kansas to North Dakota. Brad attended Sherwood High School and graduated in 1990. During his high school years, he worked for Seger Oil in Sherwood, a job he thoroughly enjoyed. After graduation, he spent two years in Anchorage, Alaska working for a service station, which he spoke of often. Upon his return to North Dakota, Brad started working as a farmhand for local farmers. This was his passion. He realized this was his true calling.

When he was not working, Brad enjoyed hunting and spear fishing. He loved all sports including baseball, basketball, and football. He was an amazing cook and loved to cook for his family. His most beloved thing to do was to watch and support all of his nieces and nephews in all of their sporting events…he was their greatest fan.

Brad is survived by mother, Rose; sister, Ellen (Keith) Rossmiller; brother, Scott (Deb) O’Brien; brother, Les O’Brien; sister, Robin (Tracey) Day; nieces, Misty Burchill, Jennifer (Richard) Bothe, Ashley (Fred) Baldwin, Lisa (Victor) Loose, Syana Day, Reagen Day and Jazmin Parmer; nephews, Brett Zeltinger and Dylan O’Brien. He is also survived by 15 great nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by father, Leslie.
