Shapes made with dyed spaghetti were the focus of Thursday’s preschool held at Tioga High School, with members of Sarah Carkuff’s child development class as teachers.
The preschool -- held for 35 minutes each session -- is led by six students from the sophomore through senior classes. They’ve hosted 12 children, age 2 to 4 years old, for the past three weeks. This week will be the final class.
“It just gives us an idea of what it will be like when we have our own kids,” says THS senior Abby Staal.
Each week has a new lesson for the preschool children.
