The very first step toward a wind farm east of the Lindahl Wind Farm was taken last week.
Tradewind Energy, the project developer, provided the Williams County Planning and Zoning Board a presentation for six conditional use permits.
The permits, which the board approved, will allow the company to erect six meteorological towers.
The board’s decision functions as a recommendation to the county commission, which must approve the permits before they are official.
