Dressed in a camouflage sweatshirt and sweat pants, Hailey Hauge of Ray had a busy Saturday morning.
After participating in an archery program for 4-H, the Ray High School student stopped by Ray Lutheran Church to try on -- and buy -- a prom dress at an exchange set up by the Ray After Prom Party to raise money for this year’s party.
Hauge plans to wear the gown to the prom in Divide County this year.
At $360, she considers the sequin and tulle confection a steal.
“My old dress is in there,” Hauge said, gesturing to a rack of brightly colored silks, satins and rhinestone encrusted dresses. “I hope someone can use it.”
