Christmas festivities brightened the night sky in Tioga over the weekend as the town celebrated its annual holiday season kickoff.
Stores were open until 9 p.m. on Friday, hours past their usual closing time. A parade included floats, trucks, and even a work-over crane covered in thousands of Christmas lights.
Kids ran up Main Street collecting ornaments and candy as the town Christmas tree and Nativity scene were lit while carolers from Zion Lutheran Church sang songs for the season.
