They could have been at the volleyball match, or home watching the baseball game.
Instead, an intrepid group of folks spent Tuesday night last week on their hands and knees, with the goal of getting the ice rink painted at Andrist Arena.
“Volunteerism runs the program,” said Blue Line Club President Mark Knudson. “It would be nearly impossible to do this without them.”
Armed with sponge brushes, and carpet squares to protect their knees from the chill, a small group of adults and their children did the dirty work.
