Former Comets players take on coaching challenge

Jenna Brady and Trevor Binde are both only a few years removed from their own state high school championships as Crosby Comet hockey players.

Now they’re the ones coaching high schoolers.

The duo became head and assistant coach, respectively, of the Crosby girls’ 19U and 14U teams this season.

They both said they have grown to love coaching as a way to stay involved in the sport.

“I didn’t want to stop playing,” Brady said, “so at least I can come back and coach.”
