DC volleyball comes back to defeat Burke

The Divide County volleyball team rallied back from a 2-0 deficit to defeat Burke County 3-2 (22-25, 20-25, 25-15, 25-13, 15-9) Sept. 15 at Burke Central School, as the Maroons improved to 7-6.
Alli McCoy registered her first double-double of the season with 10 kills and 10 blocks, and she also added a team-best six service aces, while Kasha Bakewell tallied five kills of her own. Makenzie Olson led the squad with 21 digs defensively.
DC hosts Burke County on Thursday and Ray on Tuesday. In between, the Maroons go to Washburn for a tournament Saturday.
