Country Club board votes to replace suspension bridge

Spanning Long Creek, the suspension bridge on the third hole at the Crosby Country Club has stood for decades.

Now it’s showing its age.

“If you look close, you can see it,” Board Member Kjell Vassen said. “It’s got some frays and things.”

Those things include a broken support pipe and rust. Lots of it. The boards used to cross the creek have been replaced at least once.
