Light drizzle and a cloudy sky Friday morning put a start to the 2017 Divide County Fair.
Some people comment that it might have been better for the weather to hold off until after the weekend. However, John Fortier, who often puts in work for the fair, considers the day to be perfect.
Not too hot or too cold, fair goers can wander around without heavy jackets or much worry of sunburn.
Cooler weather also benefits the 4-H Horse Show riders who have to wear jackets over already long sleeved shirts.
