Drones, bees and livestock: an introduction to 4-H clubs

For folks who grew up on a farm or live there today, 4-H is as much a staple of their rural lifestyle as fresh air and wide open spaces.

But not everyone in Divide County these days has a direct connection to agriculture, nor is 4-H only for children whose parents farm.

That’s why Divide County 4-H invited children in grades 3 through 6 to a Fun Day at the fairgrounds Thursday.

“We’ve never done this before,” said Michelle Pulvermacher, NDSU Extension, but other areas have.
