Plans for this year’s Crosby Light Up Night and Christmas Stroll are coming together, based on information the committee shared at last week’s chamber meeting.
“It’s going to be a little different this year, but we’re adding things,” said Becki Schumacher, chamber vice president.
For one thing, the date -- on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, Nov. 25 -- was chosen to give strollers more time to visit stores, while also providing more of an experience for children beyond hunting for prizes.
“We want to focus more on activities the children will enjoy and de-emphasize the prize aspect,” said KayCee Lindsey, committee member.
